Your Educator
Mark has over 40 years of industry experience and began his career in London, working with internationally recognised names including Vidal Sassoon, Michaeljohn in Mayfair and Toni & Guy.
Alongside running Swagger & Jacks, he delivers barber education and works as an NVQ Assessor across Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications, while remaining actively involved in commercial barbering. That combination keeps Academy training closely connected to current industry standards and real barbershop practice.

Swagger & Jacks Academy will soon be introducing an NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Barbering for people looking to begin a professional career in the industry.
The programme will cover core barbering foundations including men’s haircutting, clipper work, fades, beard design, shaving and professional client consultation.
