BEARD BALM, WHY USE IT?
Beard Balm, why use it, and what does it do for your beard? Beard Balm is used to soothe and soften your beard, enhancing its natural shape and style.
Despite claims from a lot of beard companies, many beard balms do not fight dandruff. Rather, they can help with a dry face (which would be “dry scalp” when talking about the head). While dandruff and dry scalp both lead to flaking skin, they are each caused by different factors. For the face, it is going to be dry skin unless you have a skin condition. The flakes on a dry, bearded face may have the term beardruff associated with them.

You only need a small quantity of Beard Balm for it to work its magic. Open the tin, and scrape a small amount from the surface, about the size a fingernail. You'll notice Beard Balm feels quite solid when it's first out of the tin...this is entirely normal.
Take the fingernail sized piece of Beard Balm and place in the palm of your hand. In order for the ingredients to work their magic on your beard, Beard Balm needs to be warmed up. The easiest way to do this, is in your hands.
Gently rub your hands together. You'll start to feel the beard balm soften in the heat of your hands. This mixes and activates the ingredients, but releases the fragrance of the balm. Keep rubbing your hands together until the balm has melted and evenly coated the inside of your hands.
Gently apply the beard balm to your beard. Start at the top, massaging the balm into your beard.
Work your fingers down the beard, coating the whiskers with an even layer of beard balm.
If you have a longer beard, then you can gently twist the beard, massaging the balm into the longer hairs.
And there you have it! Properly applied Beard Balm. Beard is beautifully softened and soothed.
